Neil Diamond and producer Rick Rubin scored an even bigger hit with their second collaboration, Home Before Dark, than they did three years earlier with 12 Songs. This 2008 platinum release hit the top of the charts in the US and the UK, making the 67-year-old Diamond the oldest artist in music history with a number one album. Rubin once again teams Diamond up in the studio with Tom Petty band members Benmont Tench and Mike Campbell, while Dixie Chick Natalie Maines duets with Diamond on Another Day.
