While it may sound like a cliché, KasCie Page is a small town girl with big dreams. The South Carolina native always knew music would be a big part of her life as she absorbed influences from Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Stevie Nicks and her own mother, a church singer. Those elements are all apparent in her vocal and musical style on her debut album No Sugar, recorded in Nashville and featuring several co-written original songs.
"I grew up singing in church with my mom and joined the chorus in school as soon as I could. I always found peace and serenity in music and felt it as a great way to release my feelings and thoughts. I began writing poetry that translated into songs in my early teens and imagined them playing on the radio one day."
