Grammy Award nomination – Producer Of The Year, Classical, 2017
The Gaudete Brass honours John Corigliano with an inventive programme of brass works by the prolific American composer and his protégés. Consisting almost entirely of world premieres, the album brings a fresh perspective to Corigliano's groundbreaking Fanfares to Music for onstage and offstage brass choirs and the stately Antiphon for double brass quintet. The ensemble also presents the Rossini-esque Overture from the popular Gazebo Dances in an original arrangement by Cliff Colnot, former principal conductor of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
