Lament for a Blind Harper (arr. by R. Stevenson for piano)
Ronald Stevenson; Savourna Stevenson; Christopher Guild |
3:01 |
On his second album devoted to countryman Ronald Stevenson, Scottish pianist Christopher Guild focuses on several strands of the composer's musical personality: his engagement with the folk traditions of Scotland and with Scottish cultural history, his efforts to write rewarding material for young pianists and his creative friendships with other musicians. Several of the pieces receive their premiere recordings here.
