This 2015 release inaugurated a series of special editions celebrating the 30th anniversary of record label Winter and Winter. The first volume focuses on the company's tango repertoire, with the finest contemporary musicians acknowledging the great composers of the past. Tango orchestras alternate with intimate duos and solos, offering a richness of sounds as they can normally only be experienced in the special bars and clubs of Buenos Aires. The choice of compositions fell consciously on the most famous ones, all popular hits in the last century. Aníbal Arias, Osvaldo Montes, Andrés Linetzky and his musicians as well as Lidia Borda reawaken the nostalgia of the music and create a vivid listening experience.
