The Spanish ensemble Forma Antiqva's enormous stylistic range perfectly strikes the right note of the early Italian Baroque, Rameau's playfulness and the great emotions of the arias of Handel, Mozart, Caldara and Purcell. After an impressive fresh interpretation of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, the Zapico brothers offer this musical treat, Opera Zapico. Together with their ensemble, the three brothers Aarón, Daniel and Pablo raise the theatre curtain for an illustrious hour of popular arias and instrumental opera music, from the early Baroque to Mozart's Don Giovanni. In the spirit of wind ensembles, albeit without wind instruments, Forma Antiqva takes on the roles of world famous court orchestras, castratos and sopranos of music history.
