"Easily the snottiest record the Faith No More and Mr. Bungle frontman has made in years... contains 10 charging, headspinning ragers..."
- Rolling Stone

This debut self-titled album introduces Dead Cross, co-founded by Faith No More vocalist Mike Patton and Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo with guitarist Michael Crain and bassist Justin Pearson, both from the band Retox. Dead Cross emerged out of a series of impractical schemes, fallen-through plans and last-minute musical experimentation: shows were scheduled before a single song was written, but the members' impressive, expansive and eclectic pedigrees were enough to ensure an unyielding musical ferocity and subsequent fan devotion. Dead Cross stands on its own, speaking volumes with its multilayered evil genius vocals, manic guitar riffs and brutal rhythms.

"Everything about Dead Cross screams aggression. I have no idea what kind of chaos it will conjure on stage or in the audience... but I know it's going to be a hell of a good time."
- Dave Lombardo, drummer

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
