Nick Delffs, formerly of the Shaky Hands, steps out on his own with the debut solo album Redesign. Delffs is a seeker, an old-school rustler of the human condition, a tireless navigator of social and spiritual landscapes, deeply apparent in his songwriting. Redesign is a self-contained universe that plays with these themes and others that, on the surface, seem at odds with one another: longing for nature, learning to take responsibility. Musically, these themes are stitched together by the album’s warm, organic production with Delffs playing every instrument heard.
