Digital Booklet
"The sounds and general concept behind this project are unique and captivating ... everything is beautifully recorded and enthusiastically and brilliantly performed ... a brilliant idea." - MusicWeb International "Five Stars ... if you like the combination of recorder, violin and classical accordion and think you might have a taste for 21st century Nordic, not-necessarily-specific responses to Old Norse folk music, Early & Late is for you." - Audiophile Audition Traditional Nordic folk music with roots in the Middle Ages meets three compositions by Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen, Sunleif Rasmussen and Rune Glerup on this debut from Danish trio Gáman. The rare combination of drum songs from Greenland, chain dances from the Faroe Islands, wedding music from the island of Fanø and original sounds by three living composers becomes an opportunity to dance, listen and discover worlds of sound that surprisingly and enrichingly elucidate one another.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
