Fortepianist Kemp English presents the tenth volume in his ongoing series recording the keyboard sonatas of 18th- and early 19th-century Czech composer Leopold Koželuch. The four Op. 51 sonatas collected here were Koželuch's first contribution to the genre in fourteen years and they display the impact that Viennese fortepianos had had on the composer. The delicacy and liveliness of these sonatas are skillfully brought out by Kemp in these world premiere recordings.
