This star-studded album released in 1972 features drummer Elvin Jones leading a large group of musicians in various combinations on both acoustic and electric instruments, including Pepper Adams on baritone sax and Chick Corea and Jan Hammer on keyboards. Most of the tunes recorded here are originals contributed by the various band members, adding up to a diverse collection of songs that had been hard to find on CD for many years.
