"Strongly recommended across the board ..."
- Fanfare

"... Sinkovsky and Minasi have served as soloists in previous edition releases; here, in a sonorous recording with a dynamic young ensemble, they’re companionable partners without sacrificing individuality.”
- The New York Times

“These are live-wire performances ... the full-blooded articulation from the small orchestra, virile sparring from the soloists and ringing continuo upon the final chord typify these high-voltage performances.”
- Gramophone

Violinists Dmitry Sinkovsky and Riccardi Minasi star on this 2013 album of Vivaldi's concertos for two violins and orchestra, accompanied by Il Pomo d'Oro conducted by Riccardo Masahide Minasi. The album is the 51st in the ambitious Vivaldi Edition series and the sixth volume dedicated to Vivaldi's violin concertos. This programme of six concertos is an overview of the complete art of Vivaldi as a composer and violinist: large of musical scale, invention, expression, energy and of course, virtuosity.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
