Cult Black-metal band Inquisition release their 9th studio album Veneration of Medieval Mysticism and Cosmological Violence. The album is co-produced by the band alongside Alejandro Corredor and was recorded at Robert Lang Studios in Shoreline, Washington between December 3 and December 11, 2022.
Inquisition was formed in 1989 by Dagon while living in Colombia, initially rooted in the Thrash Metal genre with their first two demos. In 1994 Inquisition was initiated into the cult of Black Metal with its third demo titled Incense of Rest, creating with it, what would become the songwriting platform and foundation from which would spawn the debut full length in 1998 and all future albums.
