This is the first volume of two albums recorded live over two nights at Club La Marchal in Brooklyn in April 1965, featuring a rare meeting of two of the greatest jazz trumpeters ever, Freddie Hubbard and Lee Morgan. The rest of Hubbard's band is stellar on these stretched-out performances, notably drummer Pete La Roca.
