This third volume in a series of Christmas albums from versatile jazz trombonist, singer and producer Nils Landgren is a follow-up to his two previous, highly successful holiday releases. Landgren dreamed for many years of celebrating a musical Christmas together with good friends and a selection of the many different Christmas songs he has encountered over the course of his career. He assembled the same musical confidantes he worked with on his second Christmas album, but they didn't record in a studio as they did in 2008: instead, they chose one of the biggest churches in Stockholm, the Storkyrkan, and filled it with 1,500 guests for two Christmas concerts in 2011.
