Montréal band The Dears returns after a four-year absence with this album, the first of two anticipated Times Infinity releases which mark the band's 20th anniversary. The themes covered on this volume, the group's sixth album overall, are generally "Romantique," familiar territory for The Dears who sing about unconditional love, longing and a debilitating fear of loneliness. Written over a two-year period, the album was finally committed to audio in Toronto and Montréal in 2014. The sound is described by the band as "both refined and sloppy. At times chill, always trill."
