The piano duo of Olha Chipak and Oleksiy Kushnir takes listeners out for an evening at the theatre with Stravinsky's Petrushka, selections from Rigoletto and Carmen, transcriptions for piano four hands and several world premieres on this collection that's highly virtuosic and demonically sensuous, both hellish and heavenly. The duo first met in 1998 while studying at the L’viv Music Academy in Ukraine and forged a musical partnership that has endured for almost 20 years.
