Grammy-winning conductor Mikhail Pletnev and the Russian National Orchestra present the complete ballet music of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, the follow-up to their acclaimed recording of the composer's complete Swan Lake. Pletnev has earned an international reputation for his Tchaikovsky interpretations, most specifically his piano transcriptions of The Nutcracker Suite.
