This EP contains an excerpt from world-renowned violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter's live album recorded not in a typical grand concert hall, but rather in the Yellow Lounge, a tiny, graffiti-scrawled nightclub in Berlin. Over the course of two jam-packed nights in May 2015, she put her Stradivarius through its paces as she heated up the atmosphere in the usual way for such clubs, but not in the usual way for Mutter’s concerts. She is accompanied by her own Virtuosi, young scholarship holders from her foundation for up-and-coming talent.
