The first new music from Grammy-nominated Shawn Mullins in five years, My Stupid Heart balances personal songs of suffering with powerful yet subtle social commentary striking an upbeat note of hope. Having undergone a divorce during the writing process, Mullins readily admits that several of the songs address his perceived relationship failures. Yet despite it all, he remains a romantic and says the theme of the album is summed up most succinctly by the song title It All Comes Down To Love.
