I Long To See You is the follow-up to saxophonist Charles Lloyd’s remarkable 2015 live outing Wild Man Dance, his triumphant return to Blue Note Records. His backing band on this set, the Marvels, includes guitarist Bill Frisell and pedal steel guitarist Greg Leisz alongside Lloyd's longtime quartet members bassist Reuben Rogers and drummer Eric Harland. Lloyd is also joined by two very special guests: Willie Nelson provides vocals on the anti-war song Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream while Norah Jones appears on a cover of the Joe Cocker hit You Are So Beautiful.
