Monster Tape from veteran French rapper Rim'K (real name Abdelkarim Brahmi) comes three years after his last solo release; his return was embraced by fans as the album peaked at number seven on the chart in France. Considered a cross between a mix tape and full-fledged album, Rim'K recorded these songs in Atlanta at legendary hip-hop studio Patchwerk and is joined by several guests, notably young Atlanta rap artist Rich Homie Quan on the single Everyday.
