An important emerging voice in improvised music, Richardson assembled an impressive band of visionaries for this recording including guitarist Pat Metheny, pianist Jason Moran, bassist Harish Raghavan and drummer Nasheet Waits. The album is a set of 10 affecting Richardson originals and an unexpected Bruno Mars cover (Locked Out Of Heaven).
