The Chicago-based, multiple Grammy-winning ensemble eighth blackbird is joined on Hand Eye by the collective Sleeping Giant, six young American composers rapidly gaining notice for their "daring innovations, stylistic range and acute attention to instrumental nuance" (WQXR-FM).
