Three leading musicians from the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra and Dresden Staatskapelle come together under the name TrioSono on this debut release, featuring piano trios from composers from different stylistic periods: Joseph Haydn, Friedrich Schneider and August Klughardt. The latter two recently-rediscovered works are world premieres, however they are performed so naturally, beautifully and sensitively that they seem to be age-old staples of the repertoire.
