Young vocalist Brenna Whitaker channels an era of jazz and blues music long gone on her self-titled debut album. A native of Kansas City, Whitaker headed to Los Angeles and eventually attracted fans like Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Michael Bublé and David Foster, Verve Music Group chairman and 16-time Grammy winner. The first new artist Foster has agreed to develop and produce since discovering Bublé, Whitaker's debut on Verve finds her reviving a vast American jukebox of classic songs, revealing the full force of her stunning, soulful voice. This deluxe edition contains three bonus tracks.
