Released in January 1967, The Supremes Sing Holland–Dozier–Holland was preceded by the number one hit You Keep Me Hangin' On, propelling the album into the top 10 in the US and top 20 in the UK. A second single, Love Is Here And Now You're Gone, also shot to number one in the US, while the album has gone on to sell more than one and a half million copies.
