Bandoneon virutoso Omar Massa is joined by the Berlin Symphony orchestra and the conductor Mark Laycock for their new release Nuevo Tango Concertos by Piazzolla and Massa. With Omar as soloist, this album contains the Piazzolla Concerto as well as the Massa Concerto and two of his new compositions for Bandoneon and orchestra.
Bandoneon player and composer Omar Massa was born in Buenos Aires in 1981 and has been based in Europe since 2016. Internationally acclaimed as one of the leading artists on the bandoneon and Tango Nuevo, he is a creative musician who desires to share the beauty of his unique instrument and the music of his native city.
