Darryl Havers releases his debut album of instrumentals, Low Tide. In his own words: "I’ve enjoyed 40 years of being a keyboard playing sideman, but only recently decided to branch out as a solo artist. The songs written for this album are a cross pollination of the various styles and idioms that I’ve worked in throughout my career. I’ve always loved music that takes us out of our daily routine and places us into exotic unknown worlds. I like to create rhythms and sonic textures that enable us to inhabit those different scenes for a little while."
