Former Supergrass drummer and songwriter Danny Goffey makes his solo debut as Vangoffey with Take Your Jacket Off & Get Into It, conceived in a small wooden shed in his garden in Somerset. Following the demise of Supergrass, Goffey eventually started writing songs and recording again, inspired by his friends, family and the mad world around. The album has a slightly chaotic theme throughout based around the pressures of modern living, but with clear and straightforward lyrics Goffey manages to bring both humour and charm to the material.
