Science Agrees is the debut from D.A.R.K., the initials of the three members: vocalist Dolores O’Riordan of the Cranberries, bassist Andy Rourke from the Smiths and New York City producer, songwriter and DJ Olé Koretsky. While capturing the essence of the three distinct musical personalities, incorporating their love of electronica and new wave, the album also hints at influences ranging from Bowie and R.E.M. to New Order and the Pet Shop Boys. The lyrically subtle songs touch on themes of isolation and disconnection, trauma and rebirth, love, substance abuse and loss of faith.
