Eminent contemporary music group the Hebrides Ensemble perform an inspired collection of chamber works by British composer Sir Peter Maxwell Davies from towards the end of his rich and creative career. The Scottish ensemble has personal connections with Davies works, several having been written for the group and their founder, cellist William Conway, making this a particularly special programme, with many pieces inspired by the Orkney Islands on which Davies made his home.
