Brown Gal is the debut duet album by Catalan musicians Josep Traver and Gemma Abrié. After working together several years, the duo decided to pay tribute to some of the greatest women in jazz with standards and folk-pop pieces.
Gemma Abrié is one of the most experienced young voices on the Catalan jazz scene while Josep Traver is an eclectic guitarist with experience in styles such as swing, jazz-manouche, bluegrass and more.
