We have heard him before in a trio, a duo mixing theater and music and lately especially as the leader of his protean formation Néology. Now, Florian Favre takes up his piano again, alone, to immerse himself in his Friborg roots, pay homage to them, and confront them both with musicality and modernity. Idantitâ offers a deep reflection on the collective and popular heritage, summoning the inevitable Abbé Bovet of course, but also a string of various themes, the rich heritage of a complex and captivating country. The titles of the compositions speak for themselves: "Don't burn the witch", "Our Cowboy" or "The Dzodzet" are all ways of questioning the links that unite tradition and contemporary issues.
