Pianist Tamara Stefanovich joins the WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln and conductor Jonathan Stockhammer on this recording of three works by Danish composer Hans Abrahamsen that span over two decades, yet are all linked. The 4 Pieces for Orchestra and the Piano Concerto, both composed between 1999 and 2004, are each based on the 10 Studies for Piano dating as far back as 1983.
