Mechanic is the third solo album from Danish artist Mirland, a bass-heavy journey into murky, industrial techno that represents a refined yet darker and harder approach compared to Mirland’s earlier music. Taking off with the brooding ambient soundscapes of Nebula, Mechanic once again shows Mirland’s love for science fiction and space exploration. The title track is the only vocal number, a first for Mirland, an illbient/trip-hop piece built around a piano with Claus Larsen's spoken word performance demanding focus.
