This remastered compilation features most of the tracks from the essential 1956 album by vibraphonist Teddy Charles, The Teddy Charles Tentet, on which he leads a 10 piece ensemble that includes Mal Waldron, Art Farmer, Jimmy Raney and Joe Harris. The reissue is rounded out with additional selections taken from Charles's 1953 release Collaboration West, recorded in Los Angeles.
