The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band releases Dirt Does Dylan, a 10-track album highlighting songs from Bob Dylan’s catalog. Produced and recorded by Ray Kennedy at Room & Board Studio in Nashville, the album finds a generation-spanning Dirt Band paying an appropriately great tribute to arguably the greatest songwriter of the 20th century with the help of friends like Jason Isbell, the War & Treaty, Steve Earle and Rosanne Cash. This offering also notably includes three new members: fiddler Ross Holmes; bass player Jim Photoglo (who penned the mega-hit, “Fishin’ in the Dark”) and Dirt Band founder Jeff Hanna’s son, guitarist Jaime Hanna.
