The Charl du Plessis Trio are known for their versatility as a crossover ensemble, moving between Baroque, Latin, swing, Classical and funk with ease. This recording marries the group’s technical virtuosity with their jazz sensibilities, updating several works by J.S. Bach with a smokey piano trio sound.
