Concord Records releases Mexican singer-songwriter Joan Sebastian's 1996 album Mis Nuevas Baladas. Sebastian was a Grammy and Latin Grammy award winning artist and Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame inductee. During his career, Figueroa wrote more than 1,000 songs that revolved around the genres of Latin-pop, ranchera and grupera music.
Some of his biggest hits include “Tatuajes”, “El Ultimo Beso” , “Eso Y Mas”, and his most famous “Secreto De Amor” – which became a certified 4x platinum in the Latin field in the United States by the Record Industry Association of America (RIAA)
After years of battling bone cancer, Sebastian passed away on July 13, 2015. His legacy continues to live on to this day as one of the most prolific Mexican artists to this day.
