Helsinki-based quartet Dynamic Dynamic release their debut album Bloom, a ten-track collection of originals by guitarist Jaakko Penttilä representing a new wave of Nordic instrumental music. In addition to electronic jazz fusion, the band's music features influences from contemporary rock and r'n'b. Built on the interplay of two guitars and rhythm groups, the ensemble relies on strong melodic expression and an open world of sound, not forgetting surprising sounds. The other players in the line-up are Jere Mäntykangas (guitar), Samu Jaantila (bass) and Tuomas Karlsson (drums).
