In the Tango Boréal ensemble, Denis Plante’s moving bandonéon and David Jacques’ passionate guitar and charango are fuelled by the earthy rhythms of Ian Simpson’s double bass. On Pampa Blues, the ensemble provides a creative space in which the bandonéon mixes it up with impressionist music, and the tango takes on a roving range of accents.
With more and more original projects and collaborations with soloists, ensembles, and orchestras, Tango Boréal has become established both nationally and internationally.
