Nerd-rock icons Weezer release the second of their new seasonal EP project, SZNZ: Summer. Two more EPs will be released on the first day of each of the remaining seasons in 2022, with each having its own motif and production style based on the corresponding season. Summer features 7 tracks of brand-new originals!
Rivers Cuomo described the EP's sound as "21st century 90s". Aesthetically, he linked the project to 44 BC at the end of the Roman Republic (in contrast to the Celtic theming around SZNZ: Spring), with an intended emotion of "youthful indignation".
