Renowned organ soloist Andrew Canning presents with this release, his interpretations of Olivier Messiaen’s La Nativité du Seigneur and Offrande au Saint-sacrement, two theological and meditative works. This recording was made in Uppsala Cathedral where Canning has been Director of Music for over twenty years and his relationship with the cathedral’s impressive organ shines through in these pieces.
