The Rambert Orchestra showcases five contemporary works on this fascinating album, featuring prize-winning violinist, director and curator Eloisa-Fleur Thom. Experimental, improvisational multi-instrumentalist and composer Quinta (Katherine Mann) performs her own otherworldly piece Themistocles Is Captured, three short movements for violin, electronics and a magnetic resonator piano, an acoustic piano with a series of electromagnets along its strings.
