"John Scott Whiteley brings this music to life with expressive playing and finely chosen tempi that foreground Noble's melodic skills ... the organ at York is amply suitable for this repertoire and the extensive programme notes situate the pieces on this disc in the context of Noble's life and wider compositional output."
- Organists' Review
John Scott Whiteley continues to shine the spotlight on his fellow British organist and composer Thomas Tertius Noble with this third and final volume in a series. Chiefly known for his Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis, Noble's organ music has remained for the most part unfamiliar and unrecorded. Whiteley certainly helped change that with his extensively researched and acclaimed trilogy.
