German Jazz bassist Claus Fischer releases his new project Downland, an 8-track collection of hard-hitting originals.
"For this album I combined my old love for country music and its traditional instruments with jazz rock. Somehow it came about naturally that I ended up recording and producing this album almost on my own, inviting just a few friends for playing keyboards (Don Grusin, Simon Oslender, Florian Ross) and one incredible guitar solo by Hanno Busch."
