Digital Booklet
"The proof is in the exceptionally mature grasp of the music... Miss Smith receives the spotlight in this release of recordings [Flair Album] on the strength of her extraordinarily beautiful, vibrant tone." - Atlanta Audio Club Prodigy Cellist Miriam K. Smith continues on her meteoric rise with the release of her third full-length album Momentum. In collaboration with pianist and Steinway artist Sandra Wright Shen, the album features Prokofiev's Cello Sonata in C Major, Stravinsky's Suite Italienne, and Boulanger's Trois Pièces pour violoncelle et piano. Smith performs on an Italian cello by an unknown maker from the 18th century, graciously loaned by an anonymous donor. "When a wave begins, it gathers momentum, so with this collection of music I see a gathering of energy into our modern era. I perceive this momentum in each of these composers' works propelling the arts forward in their time... And so, we continue today in the wave of momentum which began long ago." - Miriam K. Smith

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
