Originally recorded in 1968, this remastered digital release is the third volume in Canadian violinist Steven Staryk's ambitious project titled An Anthology of the Art of Violin Playing. Accompanied by harpsichordist Kenneth Gilbert, this instalment sees maestro Staryk perform sonatas from the Baroque through to the 20th century by composers such as J.S. Bach, Geminiani, and Prokofiev, making for a diverse collection of solo and accompanied violin music.
