Maxel Records presents a brand-new, previously unreleased live document from Junie and The Scoon Boogie Band performing at Dooley's in 1975. Known as a member of the legendary P-Funk collective, Junie was a reclusive artist but a funk all-star in his own right. This historical funk record was taken from Junie's residency over several nights at Dooley’s in Lansing, Michigan, and features classics tracks such as "Shakey Ground", "Oh Me Oh My (I'm A Fool For You Baby)", "Suzie Super Groupie", and a medley of the Ohio Players Hits "Pain", "Pleasure", and "Ecstasy".
Junie is accompanied by Donald Payne on bass, Earl Davis on drums and vocals, Craig Moreland on Guitar, Delbert Payne on Keys and Vocals, Al Carey on Trumpet and Vocals, Larry Hatchett on Trumpet, Mike Robert on Sax, and Joe King on Guitar.
